Using Convertly
Convertly is free to use, with no account and no registration. By using the site you accept the terms on this page. They are deliberately short, and they are written to be read rather than skipped.
Accuracy and availability
We work hard to get the numbers right. Conversions use the exact, internationally defined factors rather than rounded approximations, and where a tool draws on published reference data it says so on the page.
Even so, Convertly is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We cannot guarantee that every result is free of error, that live rates are current at the moment you read them, or that the site is always available. You use the results at your own risk, and for anything consequential you should verify them independently.
Please tell us if something looks wrong. Accuracy reports are genuinely welcome and are acted on. Reporting a bad number is more useful to us than almost anything else you could send.
Not medical advice
The BMI calculator, including its child and teen percentiles, is an informational tool. It is not a diagnosis, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
BMI is a crude measure. It takes no account of muscle mass, body composition, bone density, ethnicity or distribution of body fat, and it can mislead badly for athletes, for older adults and for children whose growth is best read in context by a clinician. Please do not make decisions about your health, your diet or your child's development on the basis of a number from this site. Talk to a doctor.
Not financial advice
The currency and crypto converters are indicative tools for everyday reference — working out roughly what a holiday will cost, or what a price in another currency means. They are not a dealing service and they are not financial advice.
Rates come from third-party providers and may be delayed, cached or briefly unavailable. They are mid-market rates: they do not include the spread, fees or margin that a bank, broker or exchange will apply, so the amount you actually receive in a real transaction will differ. Cryptocurrency prices in particular can move substantially within minutes. Do not rely on a figure from this site for a transaction, a trade, an invoice or a tax return.
Acceptable use
You are welcome to use Convertly as much as you like, for personal or commercial purposes. Please do not:
- Attempt to disrupt, overload or interfere with the site or the services it depends on
- Scrape the site at a volume that degrades it for other people
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its infrastructure
- Use the site in a way that breaks the law in your jurisdiction
If you would like to use Convertly's data or tools in a project of your own, just ask. We would probably say yes.
Content and ownership
The design, written content and tool implementations on Convertly are the work of Firirigs. You are free to quote or link to any page. Wholesale copying of the site's content or code is not permitted without permission.
Conversion factors, formulas and published reference data are facts, not our property, and we make no claim over them.
Third-party services
Convertly relies on external providers for live rates, fonts and advertising, and pages may link to other websites. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Which services are involved, and why, is set out in the privacy policy.
Changes and contact
These terms may be updated as the site changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised, and continuing to use Convertly after a change means accepting the revised terms.
